
Theropod jaws and claws adorn this umbrella. Theropod, meaning “beast foot,” is the name given to mainly bipedal dinosaurs with hollow bones and three-toed feet. Gorgosaurus is one of five large theropods that lived in Alberta during the Late Cretaceous.
